ww2 german gas mask cannister

Quick question do the cannisters generally cost more than the mask?if so what price would this cannister be worth?regards minnie.

I see the canisters sell from $50-$75....I.M.A is currently selling gasmasks w/out canisters for $89.00...which I feel is far too much...You can generally find the whole complete rig for around $150.00, often a bit cheaper though. Glenn

It is not easy to give a price for canisters only. For instance, the one that opened this thread is not in great condition..due to the lack of factory paint, the lack of closure strap and the lack of carrying straps...its price should be quite low.
My advice to you if you want to purchase gas warfare items, is to save your money for a while and someday to buy a complete and untouched set that will bring you both satisfaction and historic interest...
