As JP says not WW2 issue boots.
Steve
I am trying to learn all I can so I can know more about how to see the warning signs, what are the give away signs that they aren't WW2 German?
Hello again,
in fact, your boots are the giveaway as they dont have anything right compared to WWII german issues ones...
Below you can see a pair of Reitstiefel (cavalry boots) that are at 99% identical to the Marschstiefel, except for the small leather tab placed at the rear for spurs...here hidden behind a red dot.
This is what you need to look for if you want an original pair of WWII german issue Marschstiefel...
Thanks

Would you happen to know what type of boots these are?
