Gerbirgs Regiments 11 10 Kompanie ?

could be Grenadier Regiment 11(motorized) formed from Infantry Regiment 11(motorzied) in 1942.....couldn't find a Gebirgs Regiment 11

it is a WWI unit for sure...

I don't think there was such a Gebirgsjäger Regiment during WW1 as they were part of the Alpenkorps and were arranged differently. I think its more likely to the Grenadiere Regiment, but its quite an unusual marking. Interesting find.

Thank you and yes GJ was more of a guess but Gren makes more sense.
