    Default WW1 Field Grey painted Fernglas

    A pair of field grey 08 Fernglas that I received in the post this morning. Made by C.P. Goertz, Berlin, a lot of field grey paint remains on the body of the binoculars with wear from use leaving a very nice overall patina. Unfortunately the leather strap has long since gone but the optics are still very good. They are quite small as can be seen when placed beside and iron cross.
