These says it was dug and I don't buy that, we'll they think it was
Looks like a fairly modern repro. The red rust and the coloration of the metal certainly does not say "100 years old"...

I will go with that, thank you
It looks like a real one to me, model 1b it is in my opinion. I once wrote this little article about grabenpanzers: https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/imper...we-know-10632/
I think you might find it interesting...

I was hoping you'd see this thread Adler , thanks for the valuable reply .

I think that it's an authentically made Replica but the metal has no true aging to it. The metal should be nearly black after a century and black rust as well. I see no signs of usage which one would expect to see from battlefield conditions. It is certainly nothing that I would invest decent money in to.

The "patina" doesn't look convincing to me eighter, but as far as I know they only make replica's of the Mod. 1 (without the slits for the strap). Since we don't know where it was stored or where it comes from, the only way to determin if it's original, is to check if there are any makers marks or serial numbers on the plate.
If there are no marks at all, it's very well possible they started reproducing this model as well. For now it's hard to tell by these pictures alone...
