Very nice collection.
Very nice collection.
My great uncle served in the 8th Division. It's nickname was ''Kolmen kannaksen koukkaajat'', which means ''Out-flankers of the three isthmus''.
EDIT: I thought the 8th division as the 6th, so I thought our forefathers served in the same division. I edited the text now.

My girlfriend helped me to translate . The translation is a little crude, because it's sometimes hard to find words in English.
1)
Across captivity to freedom! The Finns have warmth and plenty of food!
2)
Comrade! Choose for yourself! The road of a Red Army soldier leads down into death! Surrender like this and the Finn will never shoot.
