Winner of a Socialist Competition, Velvet Banner
I was wondering if this flag is special in any way. It’s a large velvet banner, and it’s in good condition, with the exception of a fray on the CoA wreath, and a small bald patches on the velvet. It was about 50€ and I got it as a gift about 5 or 6 years ago. What is everyone’s opinion on it?
I don’t have a photo on the other side, apologies. It is a Lenin head in a circle, with a wreath under. Above is the text “ПРОЛЕТАРИИ ВСЕХ СТРАН, СОЕДИНЯЙТЕСЬ!“ in an arch. I will try send a photo very soon.

Is there also any recommendations on how to display banners and flags such as this?

Not an expert on flags and banners but it appears to be a fairly standard award banner. Not hard to find but they're going up in value. When I first started collecting could purchase one in the $ 75 - $ 100 range USD. Now they seem to demand around $250 - $300 USD. Depending on where you find them.

Still quite common indeed with the 15 banners. I agree prices went up. I have seen these for $ 75 - 100 on Ebay nowadays when buying from Ukraine or other former Soviet republics.
