WW2 Soviet Flag?

The flag has a black hammer & sickle in Star on one side and residue of larger gold hammer and sickle on both sides. Left of black symbol is sewn or mounting on a wood dowel.

Advertised as being WW2 but I am not finding a good reference of the hammer & sickle in the star.

The only reference to this symbol I have found is as a flag of the Transcaucasian from the 1930’s.

Myself I would only buy such flag with good provenance. Every dealer out there offers flags as being WW2, not even a handful actually had period flags for sale.
With this one it is odd that there's a black star with h/s plus a faded gold star with h/s. Not something I have come across myself yet.
