Call me a rebel, but I’d say you are “grandfather-in” to collect. Similar to me giving myself a “permit”. My wife always shakes her head at that one. Governments are there to do our bidding, not the other way around.

Only Bob could entitle a thread with such an understatement hpthat then delivers big style! Bob can I ask if there is any history known on the aircraft swastika?
It is from a bf 109G that was found in Tunisia apparently mate... that was what I was told anyway, and my source is generally impeccable
... it was originally from a Brit collector who moved to New Zealand and sold it to my friend, and that was the story he passed on, and then
on to Australia when my friend decided to move it on.
