I hope it is. The woven lettering and tress looks promising although the edge fringe looks a bit modern?

Not my area at all. Will need someone like Bob IMHO.

But one recently sold on Ratisbons. It looks very similar from a material and construction perspective. That said, we all know that being sold at auction to not necessarily mean it's original.

It certainly has genuine age to it in hand but I understand that's hard to convey in a forum post.

Yes, thank you. Luckily you can only display one side of it at a time anyways and the important side is the one that's nice and vibrant. In a framed display I think this one will look absolutely spectacular.
