DJ Banner for review

Hello Gents,

I'm posting this banner for review/comments. It measures 12" x 16" and has silver bullion fringe. How common are these and where would this configuration be hung?

We've only seen very few here on the Forum, and from what I understand there are also unofficial, locally-created variants...I like the Banner, and speculate that it was kept in the Jaegerschaft's Clubhouse on display along with the Hunting Trophies, possibly finding occasional use as a podium banner...

Banners were hung at all kinds of occasions and for many purposes.
Often this was during exhibitions or whatever. The shown one is
rather small.

See price-list for sizes up to five meter. Any kind of size was possible.

Thanks for the input Gentlemen! And thank you for the pictorial references Wim! It is a small banner and was unsure of its use. It's purportedly featured in a book "Sport and the Third Reich: History, Uniforms, Insignia, and Awards" on page 584. Unfortunately, I do not have the book.

I have this two volume reference. Received a set from the author, numbered, signed and with a
special dedication.

The one shown here is not at the sales list.
I will meet my DJ friend tomorrow and I will ask
him if he has more information on those smaller
banners. Or about whatever DJ flags and pennants
and so on! If he has I will let you know.
