Early NSDAP wall banner
Happy New Year Gents!
Hopeful some seasoned collectors will share their knowledge. This banner has some writting along the spine. Ever seen hand written numbers and letters/words? This measures 9 feet by 6.5 feet. Best pics to date. Skinny swas is what I like about this banner.

Backward swastika - Homemade, flipped picture or repro.
Have updated information on this homemade flag.
The seller, a grandma, did her best to provide pics. Those of which are at the top of this thread. When my requests for both sides were made, she sent pics of both ends. I was very puzzled by this flag and decided to purchase from her. These new pics are what was shipped.
Always open to corrections. Best I can determine is this is a three piece one-sided sewn indoor banner. After the three vertical red panels were sewn together a white disk was sewn on the front. Next if I'm correct in the build process, the maker cut a slightly smaller red disk out from the back side. From the front the black swastika was sewn on. The maker then cut away the white cotton disk material underneath the black swastika. Just inside the seams. This is why the 'skinny swas' appears slightly narrower in size and the direction it is facing.
I'm working on ironing out the tremendous amount of wrinkles from being stuffed in the bottom of a mailbag for decades. These pics were taken right after removing from the box it was shipped in. Up close detailed pics should help visualize my description of construction. Hopefully tomorrow.
