A Kampfzeit Fahne would certainly have that orientation of the 卐, yes.

Well... I'd say it would be 1920s, and I've seen genuine Kampfzeit banners sold for a couple of thousand.

But I can't say for certain whether this item is a genuine example of one of those. It looks suspiciously clean and neat.

Thanks appreciate it.It looks brighter in the outside light than it really is.This was in a vets estate,the black swaz is sewn on to the white field like the earlier armbands were.Smells of moth balls(not a tell all),but dont think it could be a fake, its always possible though.Have had it for many years.Will take some more close up pics in normal lighting.I know there were some fake flags made but not like this one that I have seen,its too well made.You can just tell its old cloth ,a dark blood red field.

Description on website:

72 x 45 inch very early banner with the swastika presented flat and not standing on one corner as it was the case on all standard flags and banners after the Nazis came to power. This one is used, and it has both its original metal clips for hanging. See photos of pin holes and two smaller holes. Has lots of dirt marks and stains but is a solid early flag. It has seen water before but nothing terrible and red still bright red.

Has some extra stitching holes in white that goes in a circle (see photo). The banner is 100% and not been made up to fool anyone. It’s just the way it was liberated and returned home. We priced this according to condition. This is a difficult banner to find.
