Icelandic Nazi party Flag
Wanted to post my newest pickup a few weeks ago.
Not sure really what to do with it yet as i have no room for it yet lol,
Have very very minimal information to go off of with this piece as their party was extremely small.
Anyone interested please send a message or something and I can upload some more interesting Icelandic info I was able to uncover.

Interesting piece for sure!
And a very rare flag... the Icelandic party only at their highest was about 400-450 members..
Great flag!
Congrats on a rare piece of history..
Best regards

'never seen one of those before......how does one check / understand it's authenticity?

I've contacted quite a few museums and professors of history at top accredited universities in Iceland and they are all in consensus about the pieces legitimacy. They have said its extremely difficult for someone who knows third reich flags to tell given the different construction methods and materials used since they weren't mass produced and weren't following standard Third Reich manufacturing methods.
Perhaps must interestingly, they all pointed as to this actually being a good validation tool that nothing matches up with the standard processes I thought was quite concerning at first.
I've sort of just accumulating knowledge and have been building a consensus report from a variety of sources in Iceland as well as the US and haven't had anyone who indicated about this say its fake as of now.

A first for me as well. What a great piece of history this is!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them
