Nice little Kriegsmarine flag,rope loops,may have been wet at one time as ink stampings have blured a little.One hole may be a bullet hole ,cotton flag so insect would not have done it.Nice display size,paid 300.00,not a steal price but worth that.Seen some fakes of these that were pretty good,am not worried about this one.Cant make out the maker?Opinions welcome.

Thanks raz!Pretty easy item for a GI to stick in the duffle bag.Am sure a lot of these were brought back,but how many survived over 75 years ?Floods ,fires,poor storage etc.Looked at a big one the other day ,battle ship size, was stained and rotten, been in a cardboard box in a wet basement for many years.Guy thought it was worth 500.00 because he knew his uncle brought it back from ww2.Told him,its a little too rough for me dude but someone might buy ,ha.If stored right it would have been worth 500.00 easy.
