Dear Colleagues,

This came into our shop yesterday, and despite every effort to find another like example with a description, I have come up with nothing.

I do understand that is is for some kind of veterans organization.

What, when, why, how? Total length is about 8' - 244 CM.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Also, as this is not my forte, I most likely be placing it for sale in the shop. Or, would it be more interestingly beneficial to our collector community to place it in the classifieds section as a BEST OFFER kind of thing?

It's a sash for a wreath as used for funerals and memorial ceremonies. It is from the veterans' association of Rehlingen as the local chapter of the NS-RKB and the dedication means "To our fallen comrades, in faithful memory."
