I agree.
Also, the photos posted are too small to click on for more detail.
With the complexity of making a pennant like this compared to a regular flag, I doubt anyone is faking these.

After looking at the close up photos I’m confident this is an original wartime piece.
If you check this link, there is a similar pennant (although a little smaller then yours). If you look at the construction, stitching and materials they are almost the same.
