NSDAP Flag
Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share this flag i bought today at a show. It looks like someone may have re-sewn the disk on or something but besides that it is decent condition. It has to passed the burn test. Overall got it for a good price and am pretty happy with it!

What a great looking flag! Congratulations on the find.
Can you enlighten me on the (burn test) ? I am planning on buying my first NSDAP flag soon, and any help with tricks of the trade in authenticating items is appreciated.

Burn test: take a thread and light one end. Wartime material will burn away to ash. Post war synthetics will burn into a small hard ball of plastic.

Yes, I see.. This makes perfect sense, because of material used. Perfect. When I buy my first flag, I shall indeed give it the burn test.
