Unusual German Nazi Flag

Can anyone help me?
I have this flag among other items that where brought back by my great uncle after ww2 in Europe. I've searched and haven't been able to find out anything about it.

First off, lets get some close ups of the construction, materials, and go from there.

If it isn't original, it really doesn't matter. A misprint of a rerpo state service flag or somebody's idea of a novelty?

FWIW, it already looks fairly modern from these pictures.
