German/Austrian hunting knife. Also worn with traditional outfits, such as Lederhosen.

Difficult to date, the type is traditional could be pre or post WW2. Stainless steel, could be a "Solingen" mark partially struck. Probably worth what you paid Rich.
The larger distribution of inoxydable blades were most real post 1945. Similar type of hunter knife were used in identical configuration from late 19 .century to late 90ies in 20.century.
