    Default Hunting, Forestry, Jagerschaft a large variety, and their accountrements

    Why start collecting German hunting blades?
    Is it because their unique combination of etches, grips made of stag or ivory? their different shapes and designs?
    The craftwork shown in the scabbard, the hand enhanced hilts and guards?
    After having collected SA, SS, Army, Lufts etc i Always come back to these unique daggers.
    The following pics will show a bit the variety in designs of the blades and their accountrements.

    These Forestry sidearms are so diverse and different from the military type dress daggers , i can see why you have an addiction with them though , the sheer quality and workmanship that was required to manufacture the finished articles speaks volumes .. they are show stoppers Ger !
