Senior Forestry Cutlass - Carl Eickhorn - Opinions Welcome

Hello,

This is the second piece I am also acquiring and one as well that I have been looking to acquire a nice example of for some time. Eickhorn sure made a quality cutlass and this is a beauty. Just one small tiny impression dent in end of scabbard but other than that she is in excellent shape. A small amount of fraying on knot / troddel.

Those are some very nicely composed photographs showing a lovely bladed instrument.

Now that is what i would call a true beauty!!
The extra hand enhanced fittings realy look great and are a nice bonus.
Mint blade with typical Eick etch and the early oval logo is all you can ask for, nice to see the Cottbus distributer on the spine.
The enhancedments to hilt and clamshell looking great.
These portepees given them some extra's i think
Ypu have a real screamer here, and for those who never handled one i can assure you, they are impressive in hand.

Cutlass Senior Forestry Arrived Today. It is Eickhorn Porn. Wow. Lots of pictures. Have not enjoyed taking so many pictures of a piece in a long time. So much workmanship to not pass up. Good thing for digital photography.

Thanks Stingray. It is my First Forestry piece and had been wanting one for many years. With all the hunting I do it really fits my life and nails a hole shut in my collection.
