Hello please help identify this belt
It may have started as a WW II dress belt, but it has been modified. You are missing a buckle.
The end with the snaps, (has been modified), should have the buckle attached.
The end with the sizing strap should have the clip that you have attached to it, and then the buckle would have clipped on to this.

The belt seems to be for forestry l have several with green backing green front also have seen brocades with same snaps charlie
