Black buckle

In the 70's, there was in Paris one surplus with many German items : bandoleers, SS zelts....and black buckles, at a small price.

No marking on the back, and there was a web belt, not one in leather.
What it is ? For working ? For Hiwis?

Any idea on those Lebus? Why they would be plain and black. I am sure Paris would have been loaded with German and other items in them days. timothy

The belt looks period, the blank buckle is a bit of an unknown, many theories on these and uses, any more pics of both the belt and buckle?
