Five Buckles for Review
Hey guys!
I'm really new to this sort of thing,
and although I find it pretty neat,
I recently just sort of acquired these buckles from
a friend for free - and this site seems really informative,
so I was wondering if you could tell me what you think!
I've done a bit of research but I'm still unsure of authenticity -
though they also came with some pins that I've yet to try to identify
or photograph, and a few ribbons which seemed to me to be very aged.
The buckles were the pieces that interested me,
so I took some photos.
(shoot - I'm having issues getting my photos to show... well, this is embarrassing, I'll try to edit it quickly...)
Fake or not?
And if not, what would you figure their worth would be?
I may just try to sell them, if they're good,
because, like I said... I think it's very cool,
but I just got them without trying and I am no collector.
I know the photos are pretty poor quality, but I don't currently have any better camera than my phone... if you really need better quality photos, I can get them, but it'll have to wait a bit!
Also, if you can't see, the only marked buckle is the first one... and it says in very plain text, "M4/27."

Re: Five Buckles for Review
By the way, the buckles are RAD, SS, Polizei, Luftschutz, and HJ.
If original, I would say the RAD, Polizei, and HJ buckles should go for $90-$120 or so. SS buckles go for upwards of $500, and I don't really know what Luftschutz buckles go for.

Re: Five Buckles for Review
Hey, thanks! I feel silly. Haha. Yeah, I figured if I want to get further into it, I'll have to take some much better ones... I was just getting antsy because I'm very curious about them... I'll work on better photos very soon!

Re: Five Buckles for Review
Better pics are needed to make a good assessment of the buckles, from the pics provided the SS is looking like a fake at the moment, I am dubious of the SHD buckle also. Better pics will give you the answer
