Very nice; thank you for sharing
John
When I saw your buckle I knew I had one somewhere, managed to locate it after a bit of a search.
Here the version for forestry in a leaflet from mid-1935
from the concern Giesse & Schmidt from Ruhla.
The burnished (brĂ¼niert) and gilded (vergoldet) forms
for forestry are being noted.
Justizwachtmeister did wear a black leather belt and
a silvered (whitish) colored, matt version, according
to "Der Deutsche Justizbeamte" from 1935. A new
form came into being in 1937. This was arranged
with an order from about December 1936.
Strafvollzugsbeamte (Strafanstaltsbeamte) did use
the gilded version.
Jersey34 great belt and buckle. Wilhelm thank you for the info . Gary
Some of my favorite buckles. I don't know why more collectors don't collect round buckles.
