Looks like a fantasy item. But I'm no expert.

Gents, pure fantasy item and a piece of crap, there are lots of buckles like this out there with this type of rear, SS, Heer, they are all rubbish![]()

I agree: nice design....but nothing more. It's a fantasy piece that never existed during the TR......it's from a well known series of reproductions that are actually very cheap in construction.
Yet - these buckles sell constantly on Ebay......
Hattonchase....You did right by looking into it....too many others don't and get taken!
