    Question Handwritten characters

    Hello, everyone
    I recently got this belt.
I couldn't find a stamp on my belt, but fortunately I found the soldier's name and affiliation on the back.
However, my knowledge does not tell me which unit he belonged to.
I think the military department mark means cavalry unit, and PW means a cart for transportation.
Please let me know if you know anything.

I suspect PW is his initials, Heilmüller his family name.
The mark before ‘zug’ is probably VI (6th).

Agree with all of the above.

Roman numeral VI and "Zug" means platoon.

    Thank you
Your answers brought us a lot closer to solving the mystery.
I found the VI to be square.
I thought it was a troop mark, but it seems that the interpretation of VI is correct.
    1. I don't know LH yet, is it a battalion? I looked up LH in the list of abbreviations, but I couldn't find the same one.

When I retranslated, the nuances in my English were strange. sorry
I thought it was a troop mark, but as you answered, I was convinced that it was VI.

Your original translation was fine and perfectly clear, Kemo!
I struggled with the ‘LH’ too. The only thing that immediately came to mind was Lieb Hussaren, but this seems thoroughly unlikely. What era is the belt from?

    Thank you!

This was inherited from an elderly collector.
He was a collector of ww2, but he also seemed unable to decipher the letters on the belt.
There is no stamp on the belt itself.
    I don't know except that it's a German ww2 belt.
