It has been requested by Yuri via Ben Evans if I would post photos of my Nickel Turnerbund buckle by Ernst Meissner (M4/17), Hohenlimburg. As stated, this buckle is made from nickel with the pin and pin shroud made of steel. For some reason I cannot find this buckle but have some photos from 2007 that hopefully will suffice.

Let me know if you have any q's.

It is always a pleasure to see you on the WRF Dan and in addition, I am very happy to see any buckle from your collection.

Without appearing to be overly dim, why was this buckle requested to be posted and what makes it so distinct, special or of note to justify the request? To me and in my knuckle dragging sort of way, it seems to be just one of the very many “dull as ditchwater” DT buckles in nickle silver.

Perhaps I am missing something here?

    Regards and best wishes,

It was requested by a member David who wanted to see pics of the pin heads but Dan had sold the buckle and posted these pics

    David -

Always a pleasure not only to hear from you but to talk to you as well my friend. Yes, as Ben stated, a request was made and I have no problem providing photos if I have them so no harm no foul.

Hope all is well with you and the wife and staying safe.

Your response is greatly appreciated Dan and as I confirmed to Ben "...and now, all is clear and fully understood...".

All is well at this side and we hope that you and your family are similarly so.

    Regards and best wishes,

    David
