Good evening gents,
Tomorrow is Birmingham Arms Fair and one of the dealers has these photographs on their website for sale and I've asked them if they could bring them along to have a look at and possibly buy. The description is:
"11 interesting original, small format photos, sourced during the research period of the book Ausrustung by Roly Pickering. The photos mainly feature images of general German WWII equipment in wear. "
I know the pics of the photos I've attached aren't much, but it's all that were posted to the site. The dealer is reputable so I have no worries about the photos authenticity, but I'm not so sure about whether any of them are non-press photos, by press I mean mass circulated, rather than personal photographs that have been taken. I like the subject material in the photos, but like most people I prefer personal photographs. Some are glaringly obvious to me that they are press photos, like the lone soldier and river crossing, but others I am not clued up enough to be able to comment. If at all possible, is there any chance someone with greater knowledge than me weigh in and help out? Sorry to be a pain.
Kindest Regards and many thanks,
Harvey
