Here's a photo of one of the many bunkers that was in and around the Normandy countryside.

A creative farmer has turned the bunker into some form of root cellar or other type of building.

This was just a few miles inland from Utah beach.

I took this in 2012 when I went to Normandy

Not sure about the top line but can work out it says Bunker in Alsace.
