Not sure if this thread is still active, if so I have a picture of my Grandfather I would love to see in color. It has been 11 years since he passed away but I have had this photo ever since. He was part of the Home guard then joined the Royal Engineers seeing action in Sicily in 1943. Sorry for the grain cant do too much about that.
Is this 23.PzDiv or 19.PzDiv? If it is 19.PzDiv please could you contact me?
Hi Bill. Member 'slados28' has requested colourization
of this soldier. I have altered it from his original
which I will post here as well.
He owns the man's helmet, so it would be nice
to have a colour pic to go with it. Anything
you can do would be appreciated.........
Regards,
Steve.
Sadly Bill has not been on this forum for over a year !!

Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader
House Carles at the Battle of Hastings
Thanks Paul D.
It's a shame. His works are perfect. I will color with Photoshop but the result is not the same
