I believe condoms in German is spelled with k and not c, so the correct spelling is kondome.

You find spelling errors everywhereBut I must admit that where we (dutch/flemish language) and the french use a 'c' in some words, the Germans use a 'k'. That's because the flemish are influenced by the french invasion of Napoleon Bonaparte and I still use a lot of french words in my dialect.
I would be skeptical if original as it has SS on it and the rust looks very new. That is just me. Cool sign though.
