    Hello.

There are four, possibly five soldiers dressed in Kriegsmarine uniforms, the rest look like Heer troops.

The number at the bottom right corner is a Feldpost number (35171) and relates to 1.Kompanie Bau-Bataillon 221, making this an Army unit.

    Kind regards,

    Will.

    My pleasure.

I am not 100% sure, but to the bottom left it looks like it says Obltn = Oberleutnant Faler.

    Kind regards,

    Will.

    The first photo reads -

Nach einem Fliegerangriff vor Baulager, September 1940 (After an air raid in front of the construction camp, September 1940)

Meine lieber ??? in truer frundenschaft ??? (My dear ??? in true friendship ???)

    The second photo says -

Hfw = Hauptfeldwebel Johnen and looking at the two words that are partially covered, I would guess they say 'Der Spieß'.

The Hauptfeldwebel had many nicknames, including Spieß ("Spear") and Mutter der Kompanie ("mother of the company").

    Kind regards,

    Will.

Nice set of pictures, you can see Der Spiess' notebook tucked into his jacket (a mark of his office as mother of the Kompanie).
