I wonder if post #3635 shows Police or security troops of some kind. I say this because of the age of the soldiers. and also I think I see a Finnish Suomi KP/-31 with the soldier fourth from the left.

I think that’s actually a PPD-40. The KP-31 doesn’t have a for stock in front of the magazine. I think the fella two to the right of him has one too.
I also took it to be that both of them were carrying Degtyaryov’s by the overall size. Third from the right you can only the the stock which has the bulbous underside which I take to be a DP-27. Most of them certainly do look older and have the thick armband on the right sleeve. If that’s an identifier like the thin red bands on the winter whites or it serves a different purpose…
