Thought shall be the harder , heart the keener,
Courage the greater as our strength faileth.
Here lies our leader ,in the dust of his greatness.
Who leaves him now , be damned forever.
We who are old now shall not leave this Battle,
But lie at his feet , in the dust with our leader

Hey guys i received my 4 photo albums today that i mentioned in a previous post. For those who don't remember the post, it is a group that belonged to the same person who served as a panzerjager. These were purchased from a friend in Germany.
I will start posting today and i will be adding a few every day. I hope you 'll enjoy them as much as i do.
The photos that i'm posting today were loose in one of the 4 albums.
A group of NCOs
A pic of his school class probably
'I do not think we can hope for any better thing now.
We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.
Last Entry - For God's sake look after our people.'
In memory of Capt. Robert Falcon Scott, Edward Wilson, Henry Bowers, Lawrence Oates and Edgar Evans. South Pole Expedition, 30th March 1912.
Some shots of the family and their little dog
And the last 2 for today. To be continued........
I KNOW!!! Wow Ned, looks exactly like the class! Enough to send chills!
Chris, these must be AMAZING albums judging from the pics already. Youre very lucky to have obtained these man, Congratualtions. Do the albums have any writing that would ID the Panzer Regiment/unit or anything? I cant make it out, but it looks like there is writing on the shoulder board on the last dress tunic pic. It could say something about a "Schutzen Regiment" since Pz Grenadier Regiments were changed to Schutzen Regiments.
I dont want to cover Chris's awesome album photos up, but I also got a few in the mail to share today. I really cant wait to see more of those albums Chris!
Here is a cool Fallschirmjager photo of my favorite badge in wear....Luft GAB, PARA Badge, EK1, wound, and Flak Badge!! A Paratrooper Flak man!
