#14: (SS-men marching I presume? - Some with the new black uniform, some without?)
Correct; this is an image from the transitional period when the new black service uniform was phased in.
Some men already wear the black service uniform, others still wear the "brownshirt" uniform and some wear a mix: Black service uniform with the older model kepi, or "brownshirt" uniform with the new model service cap.
The motorcyclist seen in photos ## 15, 16 and 17 (and, wearing his Allgemeine SS uniform, in photo # 20) is wearing a Reichspost service cap, and his motorcycle has a Reichspost [= RP] license plate. In photo # 15, it looks to me as if an SS pennant is attached to the bike's handlebar.

I never noticed that possible SS-pennant on his bike before. Thank you, Andreas for all your help!

Hello Kenneth
Postschutz
I would say :
The man was world war 1 participants
his work was with the rich post-
He was an early member of the party
ss man and post-protection training
Thanks to its loyal and training
the best man for the post office, Hitler !
think so or something like that
((no photo with Hitler? ))
Gruss

I agree with you. In the first page of the album the original owner has glued a ribbon from a Bavarian War Merit Order/Cross to the page, this certainly indicates that he's a WWI veteran.
You'll have to wait and see if Hitler is indeed on any of the photos. It will take the fun out of it if I disclose it before we're finished with the album!

Here are 2 more interesting photos. The first i believe is SS artillery, but i am not sure. The reverse says SS, but i can not identify the tunic and the hat insignia, what little i can see of the edge does not match up size wise to a Totenkopf, looks like a wreath ???? The 2nd photo is a nude portrait of a girl that was mixed up in a box of pics i bought, all WW2 German. The reverse is maker marked. I am thinking maybe a soldiers girlfriend or wife? Any info would be great! Thanks and enjoy!
He is Heer, not SS. You can just see the collar tabs (Litzen) and the wreathed cap cockade.
Cheers, Ade.
