Hello - Kenneth
Obverse/reverse - SA-men in München I presume?
Perhaps connected to the annual "Putsch-attempt celebration"?
Yes , 9 Nov. Day
No : taken after Hindenburg's death in 1934? no
Some kind of flag ceremony in Southern Germany?
Flaggenparade am Dorfbrunnen
Yes -"Flag parade by the

12. Februar 1938
Besprechung Hitler-Schuschnigg auf dem Obersalzberg: Unter Druck unterzeichnet Schuschnigg das so genannte Berchtesgadener Abkommen.
How can you tell that Hitler and Schuschnigg are present in that photo, if that is indeed what you mean?
Also you wrote: "No : taken after Hindenburg's death in 1934? no" - what did you mean by that?
Und vielen Dank für die Information, die Sie mich geben! I read German better (I still am practicing reading period handwriting) than I can write it, I know!

what happened to these 2 August 1933?
2 August 1933 was received by the new Chancellor Adolf Hitler at Berchtesgaden for the first time a delegation of American businessmen. It consisted of two men - Sosthenes Behn and his deputy in Germany, Henry Mann
Behn was very interested in working closely with the new Hitler regime. But he asked Hitler's economic adviser Wilhelm Keppler, reliable him to name the National Socialists agreeable to men who could be appointed to the governing boards of German companies ITT.
Goering turned to ITT's a great service. In 1938 he obtained a 28 percent stake in the Lorenz Focke-Wulf, should add their planes bomb the convoys of the Allies after severe damage.
It was a victory for the chameleon-Behn's tactics - if Germany should win, then ITT was German, and Germany should lose, then ITT was American.

Rundgang durch Ruhpolding im Jahr 1938
bye fore now
I understand what you are saying about the Ruhpolding photo, my friend. About the 9. Nov. photos with Motor-SA, how do you know that it's the 1934 commemoration and not the 1935 commemoration, as the photo of Hitler in his staff car rather suggests?
Thank you for posting the photos. I am very very sure that this photo also was taken 2. August, 1933 at the same location and time (before Hitler has taken off his coat, in your photo he is not wearing his coat anymore):
Do you agree?

Looking for the photo albums of Leutnant Emil Freitag, 3. / G.R. 377
It sure is a great thread! Too bad I can't post some more photos for a while now other than maybe a few loose ones here and there The photo album I have just shared with you wasn't exactly cheap... But as soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant for me When are you going to post more from your albums Chris?
