    This is a photo that was taken by a soldier who fought alongside Friedrich shortly after he was killed. According to the German War Graves Commission, Friedrich was born on July 9th 1920 in Düsseldorf. He was killed on August 29th 1941 in Ukraine. He is currently buried in Charkow, Ukraine.
