Re: This is from a rarer nuremberg postcard, seems to be written by a ss man please help w translate
Very intriguing. Although I think slightly clearer/larger imagery might help the German speaking here to decipher this snap shot of history.

A larger-sized scan would have been good; but I could make it out alright. (Except for two small blanks.)
Yes; it was sent by an Unterscharführer of the Oberabschnitt Fulda-Werra to a family at Greiz-Saasdorf in Thuringia. (Sorry, I can't fully make out his surname; starts with "Büng...")
It says:
"7 Sept. 1938
Dear Erich and family!
We were here at Nuremberg at 3 P.M. on Saturday. 2,500 Thuringian SS comrades were welcomed by a dashing SS band of the SS-Verfügungstruppe, escorted to the big Bartholomäus School and billeted there. That evening, it was raining, same as with you at Raasdorf. This morning, reveille at 3 A.M.; at roughly 5 A.M. we were off to cordoning duty on the Zeppelinwiese, assembly of the 40,000 Labor Service men, 1,700 Labor Service Girls. The demonstrations were awesome, such dash. We only moved back in at 4 P.M. The weather was cold and quite rainy, nonetheless there was a huge attendance. Only the main event days were even better. Please give my greetings to parents and parents-in-law.
Greeting you dear ones with Heil Hitler,
Ernst [...]
My [...] Physician Dr. Schulze from Greiz sends greetings as well"

I think the name is "Büngener". The missing word is "Chefarzt" = "Head Physician".
Well, he wrote that 2,500 Thuringian SS men were participating; but that doesn't necessarily mean that all of them were on cordoning duty.

Excellent item - I'd be proud to have it in my collection
having an account of the everyday life of these soldiers brings it all to life for me. Keep up the good work!
