Then/Now Photo of Austrian Church

This is a Then and Now photo I put together of Basilika Maria Loreto which is a Catholic Church in Austria.

The WW2 photo was taken in 1941 and it shows a group of German Soldiers posing in front of the church. The bottom photo is what the church looks like today. The original photo is from my collection and is shown below.

Great comparison picture, the 'After the Battle' magazines are classics of this style of photography, sure you still buy them !

#3, the magazine has just been sold to the PEN & SWORD. so yes still going strong.

Sadly not true. The magazine has ceased production with issue 195 being the last one.

OH, NO! if so, it is a sad day! the end of an era. I have all of them starting with VOL, #1. a lot of years of unknown history that is brought to you. sitting in your overstuffed chair and going back to where it all happened.
