Who is in this Photo of Rommel and where was it taken

I think I asked this question a couple of years ago but I can't find my thread. It is possible that it was on a different forum(?). Anyway, if anyone has any info it would be very much appreciated.

Well the weather is warm, the shadows short but i don't know the KM officer ( prob an Admiral but not Raeder...)

I would say the photo is in Normandy and at the left talking to Rommel that is Admiral Theodore Kranche, Commander in chief of Navy Group Command West, headquarters were in Paris. Probably an inspection of Normandy defences, notice the building behind seems to have bricked up windows.

The location is WN 21, on 30th May 1944. Left to right: Admiral Theodor Krancke, General de Infanterie Walter Buhle, Rommel, General der Pioniere Alfred Jacob, and unknown.

He seems to be wearing a ww1 Ek1 / ww2 1st class spange combo piece.
Those attached combos are highly sought after.

614th Oak Leaves on 18 October 1944 as Admiral and commander in chief of Marinegruppenkommando West (Navy Group Command West)
