I’ve been waiting on this one for a while and I’m happy I finally got it. I am a huge fan of winter camouflage so this photo was a must for me. Hes wearing a reversible parka and a winter camouflaged helmet. His rifle has the bayonet attached, and a MG34 to the side watching the trench. At first I thought the MG34 was frosted over but now in hand I strongly belive the MG has been painted white, which I’ve never seen before but it does make sense to have that camouflaged.

Mg is probably covered with white wash like his helmet. Nice photo.

Amazing the camera wasn't frozen over too.

I don't want / mean to sound negative ( bad photography pun ) but crisp photos always bother me..... are you happy with the paper construction etc...??

Here is the back, I’m happy with the construction in hand but I’m no photo/paper expert.

My first thought was that it was a re-enactment photo. But I will defer to others.

    Hi Bodhi and other Mates.
Nice photo. There is always a first time for everything.
I had never seen a white painted MG machine gun. But here you have a photo of the Bundesarchiv in which two landsers paint a helmet white, and they have already done it with binoculars. So everything is possible...
