    Default 10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part

    Hi all

    Today i found a interesting item among a load off Bofors L-70 spareparts. It is a KriegsMarine Standhöhenregler (leveling device) for a 10,5cm S.K.C/32n.L in 8,8cm M.P.L.C/30 Laf.Nr.1650.

    The kodes is Meaning:
    10,5cm=105mm.
    S=Schnellade.
    K=Kanone.
    C/32=Construktionsjahr 1932.
    n.L=neuer rorhaufbau mit Ladevorrictung (new type barrel and semi-automatic breech)
    in 8,8cm=in a 88mm.
    M=Mittel.
    P=Pivot.
    L=Lafette.
    C/30=Construktionsjahr 1930.

    Then to the thing that interest me. Is it somehow possible to tell what ship, or coastal defence fortification the gun with Laf.nr.1650 would have been mounted in? I know there were 16 pieces of 10,5cm guns in the Hanstholm(38cm coastal artillery position) area alone here in the north of Denmark.10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part10,5 cm KM Schnellade Kanone part I am sorry about the crappy pictures but it is taken on a old cell phone in the back of a garage

    Well, that did not raise much interest in here. I took a couple of pictures in Hanstholm the other day of two 10,5 cm cannons that originally came from further south in Denmark. They are numbered 749 and 960. They have been mounted on a coastal position around Esbjerg. The pictures of the drowning bunkers is from Vigsø in northern Denmark, taken after the recent storm. Normally i am not much impressed with graffiti, but in this case it seems oddly appropriate
