    I have the chance to buy this Diamant bicycle. I was told that it was brought back from Germany after the war as a 'trophy'. Is it good? Sorry, the pictures are not the best quality. I'll see if i can get more. Thank you.

    If you can find the frame number, use this list, it shows when the bicycle was built.

    Nothing wrong with it, it is a German Built Elite Diamantwerke bicycle, But It could have been built in the DDR period as they used the same head shield up to 1950.

    Thanks. The guys gonna call me in 15 mins with the number. Is $150.00 a good price for this?

    The DDR built bikes go for around that amount, so if it is earlier yes 150 is a fair deal. They don't come up for sale very often so pricing is difficult.

    It's missing the spring clips either side of the front forks that hold the two Panzerfaust's in place.


    Other than that it's a solid old bike like the district nurse would ride here in the U.K.

    I haven't had a chance to look at this one yet, but planning to Sunday. In the mean time, I've come across these two others, in worse shape and unfortunately the first is missing the emblem and the second has an incorrect rear fender. Both are obviously resto jobs. Please take a look and tell me what you think.
