Just got this in from the postie this arvo. Nice relic track link from a Panzer IV. Must have been in an explosion as it has been quite damaged and slightly twisted.

And Sandgroper you put this idea in my head at the last show! Love it though, heaps of character.

I like it, and would really like to add one to my collection. But Lez is worried about the amount of weight on my kit room floor! LOL.

    Chers, Ade.

Nice track link VolksJager, and following on from what Ade has just said, it made me wonder...exactly what does this link weigh?

There's a guy selling six Pz III/IV track links on ebay at the moment for £240 + £50 postage. This is a very good price, particularly considering that there's an Ostketten and a couple of Pz I links with ice-cleats included. They obviously need some cleanup work, but should buff up well!

Great stuff Jason, they look terrific! Just don't tell your missus that I put that idea in your head, my wife still can't work out why I got so excited over the lump of iron I bought!

The digger says it was found in Auvere near Narva, could be from 502 Battalion.

Lucky my wife understands my problem, she even seem to get a little excited to now!
