I have the same part without the clamp.
Here is the correct mounting location for this spare part
This is the radio engineer's place and he also had a couple of additional barrels for the MG 34 machine gun

Great stuff, I find these little pieces fascinating..
Good day everyone
Fixed two shafts from the tiger tank
They were deformed during the explosion
now everything is normal, it is possible to use as intended
Where were these positioned in the Tiger?
Any pictures?
Yes of course
I do not display non-tiger spare parts here
The larger shaft is the front support of the gearbox (Olvar)
At the ends of this shaft there are characteristic rubber silent blocks (only one is left on mine and the rubber will have to be replaced)
The smaller shaft is the shaft of the Tiger tank control system (located under the driver's seat)
In the photo, I noted two characteristic features of this shaft A,B:
A is a thread on the end for fixing the shaft with a nut
B is a technological groove for fastening the rod
What's the biggest piece you have from a Tiger Evgen?
I think that for today
the largest part is the roof of the tower
Any pictures my friend?
I have already posted this photo here, but it is not difficult for me to duplicate it
