That is a very nice early one going by the colour.
I see yours is marked Sfl.Z.F.1a mine is marked Sfl.Z.F.1a/1, do you know what the difference was.
It appears no difference from what i have seen , the only differecne i am aware of is ones with a round instead of a square pad made by Manufacturer ccx , Optische und Feinmechanische Werke, Hugo Meyer & Co, Görlitz !!

A friend welded the handle part for me last week and today I cleaned it up and gave it a coat of red primer. Sand colour in a couple of months.
Also for a bit of fun I have included a picture of my StuG III restoration project. I know the small hatch part is around the wrong way but it would not photograph well the right way round.
Great work. Your postman must really hate you though! I can't imagine those tracks are light!!
I don't think the postman hates me, as it is not always the same one, but I think they must get worried when they see my name on their delivery list.
The box they came in was heavy, but manageable, four would have been a struggle.
