Airforce hat 1952

I got this hat last year and I knew it was a postwar cap but I still got it because it looks very good in my collection However somebody took the time to black out the makers stamp and tried to rub out the date, but you can still see that its 1952, which suits me fine as it is still Stalin era.
Has anyone encountered such markings and does anyone know how I could get rid of this top layer of ink, I know im asking for something probably impossible but still feel its worth a shot.
