    Hi
Since I have got some free time and have to sit at home I decided to show you my russian helmets
First is a standard ssh40, has 2 or even 3 layers of paint so I have no idea if its 50s or mb later (can any1 help?) 1-494 number, some white markings (unit?) and repainted name of the previous owner I think? Only stamps are on the liner pads, star with number and K-24 or K-42

The 2nd one is also ssh40 but painted for the traffic control, paint is nice but the inside is not in great condition, 2-432, no idea when it was used, I saw them even on the photos from Afghanistan

3rd ssh40, it isn't in good condicion but it was used as a bucket and was repainted a few times, but still you can see the eagle "kurica" used by polish soldiers on the eastern front during and shortly after 2ww, barely visible number, 1-45_

Ok finally got some more time
Another one, traffic control, but different painting, few years age the red paint was glowing in the dark, it was repainted several times (olive green -> dark green -> white), straps similar to those on ddr helmets and signature of a previous owner I think

    Nice collection of Russian helmets.
Just trying to learn something here.
I noticed that some of the later dated Ssh-40's have different colored liner's. What's the deal with that?
